This 2 1/2-day workshop is taught by Gerson professionals and gives a basic yet thorough introduction to the Gerson Therapy, a powerful natural treatment that activates the body’s own healing mechanism.

Scope and Focus of the Workshop
The Gerson Basics Workshop is intended to teach participants about the Gerson Therapy, which was specifically designed for people with serious illness or chronic degenerative conditions. This workshop does not provide specific dietary protocols for preventative health. The Gerson Institute does not have a specific protocol for preventative health, but you may read some information on that topic in our Gerson Guidelines for General Nutrition (pdf).
The participant will have the opportunity to ask questions pertinent to the information being presented, but our speakers will not be able to answer questions regarding personal situations or to discuss specific health conditions.

Filming Restrictions
Filming of the workshop is prohibited. However, the entire workshop will be streamed live for online participants, and cameras will be filming the event. After the workshop, we will email all attendees the link to view the recorded workshop, which will be accessible for four weeks.

Books and supplies available at the workshop
- Books, educational materials and other products from the Gerson Institute’s bookstore will be available to purchase at the workshop.
- Supplements will not be sold at the workshop, but a listing of companies that sell supplements recommended for the Gerson Therapy can be found on our Supplies page.
- Cookware and juicers will be on display, but not sold by the Gerson Institute. They are provided by approved, independent vendors and must be ordered directly from them. If you order a Norwalk juicer two weeks in advance of the class, you can arrange to pick it up at the Gerson Institute during the week of the workshop.

Gerson Therapy-approved meals provided:
On Thursday afternoon, a snack will be provided. Breakfast and lunch will be served for workshop participants on Friday and Saturday, along with a mid-afternoon snack. All food served at the workshop is organic and 100% approved for the Gerson Therapy.
Hotel & Shuttle Information
The Gerson Institute has arranged for a special rate at a local hotel that provides shuttle service to the San Diego Woman’s Club, where the Gerson Basics Workshop will be held. You are under no obligation to stay at La Quinta Inn and may check into any other accommodation options that are suitable for you.

Room rates are quoted exclusive of local taxes and fees, currently 12.56% (subject to change without notice). A discounted $5 parking charge per day will occur if parking a vehicle in the hotel’s underground parking.

Shuttle Service:
La Quinta Inn has a complimentary shuttle that will pick you up at the San Diego Airport and transfer you to the hotel between the hours of 6:00 am – 8:00 pm daily. A complimentary shuttle has been arranged to pick you up at the La Quinta Inn and transfer you to the San Diego Woman’s Club and return again at the end of each day. If you prefer to take a taxi, the cost is approximately $10.00 – $20.00.

Registration Fee
Regular: $500
Student/senior/group: $450 (valid proof of ID required for students and seniors)
How to Register
Fill out the online form below, then a representative from the Gerson Institute will contact you within the next few days to collect your payment by phone.
Your registration is incomplete until payment is received. We cannot secure your spot in the class until we have received your tuition payment.
Please do not make travel plans until you have received confirmation that your registration is complete.
Cancellation Policy:
There is a $50 cancellation fee to cover administrative costs.
