Gerson Food and Juice Preparation Intensive Class
The Gerson Therapy food and juices are a large part of the “prescription” for Gerson patients. Dr. Gerson outlined specific cooking methods to follow to in order to preserve nutrients and to make food easy to digest for people who are ill. We are offering a monthly cooking class to teach people how to correctly prepare the Gerson foods and juices.
This class is taught by experienced Gerson staff. It is designed for people who want to use the Gerson Therapy to heal from illness (although this class does not provide all the necessary information to start the Gerson Therapy as the focus is exclusively on food prep) as well as for people who want to learn healthy and tasty cooking methods. You will also learn about preferred cookware for Gerson cooking, non-toxic vegetable wash and much more.
Juices and lunch will be prepared and enjoyed by participants.
You will receive instruction on how to correctly prepare the Gerson foods and juices through hands-on experience, including:
- Preparing the Hippocrates Soup.
- Preparing organic vegetables using the slow cooking/waterless method.
- Explanation on the how and whys of the Gerson diet.
- Tips on making the Gerson green juice and the carrot-apple juice.

Time: 9am – 2:30pm
Cost: $150 (includes registration, a Gerson apron, handouts and a one year subscription to the Healing News).

NOTE: in order to register for the class, you must pay your $150 fee to secure your spot. If you registered and need to cancel, please give us at least a 2 day notice. There will be a $30 non-refundable cancellation fee to cover our costs.
