Why I Owe My Life to Gerson

My mother and I both have cancer. I have a rare type called epithelioid sarcoma which was diagnosed in 2008 and then again in 2009. My mum has breast cancer and was diagnosed at the beginning of 2011. There was one major difference between our experiences- mine was both fraught with fear, anxiety and uncertainty, while my mum’s was free of these heavy, debilitating emotions.

Why is that?

When I first learnt I had cancer, I had never heard of Gerson Therapy. When Mum was diagnosed, we had already witnessed its incomparable healing power.

My conventional medical team was out of options. My cancer does not respond to chemo and radiation, and I was told that my only hope of prolonging my survival would be to amputate my arm at the shoulder. But still, this would not be a cure. I was 24 at the time.

Being told you have a terminal illness and that you will need to live as an amputee is enough to send even Mary Poppins into depression. But then I started reading, and researching, and ultimately pleaded my case in an email to Charlotte Gerson. She immediately replied and personally assured me that there was no reason why I could not reverse my cancer, provided I committed to the cancer therapy her father invented over 60 years ago. This one email gave me the hope I needed to turn my desperate situation around.

When Mum and I flew to Mexico to spend three weeks at the Gerson clinic, my parents had to dip into their life savings and more, but the expense was worth it. Around the clock nurse care, all organic juices and meals provided and prepared, twice daily doctor visits, plus accommodation – the care and service that we received at the clinic was well worth it.

I am now 20 months into my Gerson Therapy journey, while my Mum has completed eight months. We are both doing so well, and I can visibly see the Therapy healing the tumors I had in my arm.

The Gerson team has been indispensable to both of our journeys.

This is why I decided to donate 50% of all sales of my Healing Through The Holidays recipe e-book to The Gerson Institute. It is my Christmas gift to the people who have given me the knowledge and tools to save my own life. I want to do whatever I can to repay them for all they have done for my family and I.

- Jessica Ainscough,

Just as Jessica is helping support the Gerson Institute, we hope you will consider making a donation as well. We receive thousands of phone calls and emails every month from people like Jessica, who are facing difficult and frightening health decisions.

Your donation allows us to continue helping these people by providing information and education about the Gerson Therapy, as well as hope and support to those in need.

Jessica’s mother was fortunate enough to learn about the Gerson Therapy, before beginning harsh conventional treatments. By knowing of the Gerson Therapy before her diagnosis, Jessica’s mother was able to begin her healing journey with greater peace and clarity. With your support, we can reach out to more people like Jessica and her mother.

Please help us continue our work of spreading Dr. Gerson’s message of hope and healing across the globe by making a donation to the Gerson Institute today.

Hi Donna! I’m so sorry to hear of your friends diagnosis. There is an application process to become a patient at the clinics; the doctors determine if the patient is a good candidate for the therapy on a case-by-case basis.  You can learn more about the clinics and application process here: http://www.gerson.org/gerpress/clinics
