The Gerson Therapy Training Program for Licensed Professionals©
Our Gerson Therapy Practitioner Training Program is designed for licensed medical professionals with the following degrees: MD, ND, DO, DC, NP, and PA. We do not accept graduates of correspondence schools. The Gerson Therapy training consists of three phases, Module I, II,
and III.
We are now offering a unique opportunity to take Module I while in residence receiving the therapy. This program will be held on site at the Charlotte Gerson Health Restoration Center and each trainee will experience the modified version of the therapy concurrently with classroom instruction. We are seeking 3 qualified practitioners who are extremely interested and committed to guiding clients on the strict Gerson protocol as originally described in Gerson’s monograph “A Cancer Therapy” with current enhancements and additions. The Gerson Institute will personally screen and select these individuals.
Module I includes:
- Seven days with approximately 45 hours of instruction over one week taught by a team of recognized Gerson Therapy Professionals and Charlotte Gerson. This will include the biological and physiological basis of the therapy, patient assessment, designing individual therapy protocols and ongoing case management skills.
- Demonstrations and hands-on experience with food preparation, juicing, coffee enemas and the application of adjunctive therapies.
- Seven night’s accommodation, 3 Gerson meals daily including snacks, juices throughout the day, Gerson supplements and self administration of coffee enemas.
- A complete set of Gerson Therapy instructional materials.
- A one-year honorary subscription to the Gerson Healing Newsletter
- Pre-requisite to registering for Module II which will allow you to immediately utilize your new acquired knowledge and skills with a limited number of clients. You will receive referrals from clients seeking outpatient treatment in your area.
- We will be accepting only 3 individuals per session and will hold a minimum of two sessions a year. (Next Training Session May 11 – 17, 2008)
The Module I fee is $4,200
Module II (experiential review phase) includes:
- Documentation of 3 case studies over a 1 year to 18 month period with emphasis on clinical data collection, developing individual protocols and on-going patient management.
- Support by an experienced Gerson practitioner. Initial case history, assessment and protocol design will be submitted for review. Thereafter, you will have access to twenty-30 minute consultations. Communication can also be made by e-mail. Case history taking templates as well as master copies of resource materials for clients will be provided. You will receive guidance in selecting cases appropriate for your level of experience.
- Free access to the Gerson Institute staff and your supervising Gerson practitioner for general inquiries and preliminary Gerson Therapy advice.
The Module II fee is $1,500.00(Optional Payment Plan Available)
Module III includes:
- A five-day internship at a licensed Gerson medical facility.
- Daily meetings and access to Gerson physicians on staff.
- A focus on long term clinical care utilizing case studies as teaching aids.
- An opportunity to witness the Gerson Therapy in action.
- Daily seminars and other practical experiences that can include:
- Case History/Intake Process
- Developing Patient Protocols
- Medical Crisis Intervention
- Gerson Supplement Discussion
- The Use of Hydrotherapy
- The Gerson Therapy Kitchen
- Two Gerson Therapy meals a day
- Gerson Therapy literature and teaching aids
The Module III internship fee is $1,500.00
Alternatively, the Gerson Institute also offers a Caregiver Weekend for individuals intending to provide Gerson care for a loved one and for non-licensed health care providers wishing to expand their range of knowledge.
