Gerson Health Centre, Europe

The Gerson Health Centre opened in March, 2009, and has the proud distinction of being Europe’s first and only licensed Gerson treatment center. The Centre is located about 30 km outside of Budapest, Hungary. The Centre takes patients and their companions for two week sessions. The two week session costs 6,500€ (including 27% tax) for the patient and 900€ for one companion.

The primary language spoken is English, but additional languages available are Hungarian, Romanian, German and Italian. In addition to the Gerson Therapy, the Gerson Health Centre also offers group yoga, psychotherapy and/or relaxation, as well as individual treatments such as reflexology, homeopathy, acupuncture or other supplementary naturopathic treatments.

Do I need to bring a companion?

Yes, each patient brings a companion with them, to give the patient support, and to learn the therapy, so that they can continue to assist the patient once they return home. The fee for the companion is 900€ (including 27% tax), which includes room and board, three meals a day, and classes and training in the Gerson Therapy.


Does the Gerson Health Centre offer any follow-up care after the patients have completed their two-week session at the clinic?

Yes, patients can do follow-up consultations with the doctors at the Centre after they leave the clinic.


Do the clinics offer any kinds of mental, spiritual, or psychological support?

Yes, the Gerson Health Centre offers individual and group counseling and psychotherapy. They also offer yoga, meditation, and reflexology.


Do the doctors and staff at the clinic speak English?

Yes, English is the primary language used by the staff. Additional languages available are Hungarian, Romanian, German, Italian, Russian and Polish.

While the Centre maintains good relationships with translators who may help, translation fees are not included in the clinic fee and must be discussed between the patient and the translator.
